The Shields Group Wins BeautyKind's #BeautyKindGives Contest!


It's just a matter of time before BeautyKind becomes a household company name. BeautyKind is an online beauty retailer similar to Sephora and Ulta, but with a community impact. They are a leading example of corporate social responsibility. BeautyKind offers all the trendy beauty products that are available at popular beauty retailers, only when a customer goes to checkout, BeautyKind offers them a platform to donate to a charity of their choice. BeautyKind gives back 5 percent of gross sales to charity. Best of all, this charity aspect was not an afterthought. BeautyKind's business model was built around the charity component.


The Shields Group's Director of Marketing Communications, Jenna Edde, submitted a video nominating their charity of choice - Heart House Dallas. Heart House is an incredible organization helps under privileged and refugee children go from a state of chaos to an oasis of calm by providing safety, education and opportunity. The Shields Group has been a proud supporter of Heart House for the past several years, and has even paired up with them for this year's CFT4B Freedom Day project.


BeautyKind selected TSG's video submission as their "WEEKLY WINNER" and gifted $1,000 to Heart House. The Shields Group believes in changing the world one company at a time. We are thrilled to spend awareness about socially responsible organizations like BeautyKind and Heart House!
